The Royal Family Attends Christmas Day Service, Greets South Pole Explorer
On a rainy Christmas Day in Norfolk, England, Prince William Duke of Cambridge and wife, Kate Duchess of Cambridge, joined the rest of the royal family for church service at the Sandringham Church.
And when the royal family wasn’t busy opening Christmas presents with young Prince George and Princess Charlotte, Prince William managed to send a message of encouragement to an explorer traversing Antartica.

Henry Worsley is the first person to travel across the icy continent by himself and is nearing the end of his journey.
William told the intrepid explorer, “You’re doing a cracking job. Everyone back here is very proud.”
