Jennifer Lopez Is Doing Just Fine as a Single Woman, in Case You Hadn’t Already Noticed

Let’s hear it for the baddest chick from the block.

Jennifer Lopez is the ultimate wonder woman on the cover of InStyle magazine’s February issue. She tells the magazine in an exclusive interview that her happiness no longer depends on the presence of a male figure in her life. “I need to be happy on my own,” she says, via The Daily Mail. “If someone fits into that, great. But if they don’t, that’s OK too.”

She reflects on her past relationships with the likes of Marc Anthony and actor Ben Affleck, remembering her fairy tale optimism. “I was waiting for Prince Charming,” says Lopez. “Everybody I met was going to be the guy I was going to spend my life with. And then you realize, ‘I’m strong’ I’m my own keeper, my own savior.”

The 46-year old mother of two reveals that her twins Max and Emme travel with her everywhere that she goes. Lopez tells InStyle that they respect her sleep schedule amid her non-stop hustle. “I am busy, and they know it,” she says. “If I’m sleeping in, they’re very quiet, like, ‘Mommy needs to sleep! She worked late last night!’ We’re a team.”
