Jennifer Lawrence and Amy Schumer Have Finished Their Movie Script

You might not have to wait much longer for Jennifer Lawrence and Amy Schumer’s wildly anticipated movie.

The Joy star recently opened up about the script she’s been working on with her BFF, saying the first draft for their collaborative film has been completed. In an interview with BBC 6 Music on Monday (Jan. 4, 2016), Lawrence revealed that the pair are ready to start working on the project soon. “That is done. We have finished writing it,” she said. “We have an official first draft. I am going to try and fit it somewhere into my ghoulish schedule, and we’re gonna try to do that pretty soon.”

“It was hilarious, because when you’re writing a comedy it’s not good enough unless you’re laughing out loud,” J.Law continued. “So I’m laughing at my pages and I’m laughing at her pages and thinking that the whole process is hilarious. I’m thinking we’ve got a pretty funny, good movie.” Hey, maybe they’ll cast Emma Stone and Adele in the movie, too.

All we know for sure about the untitled film is that it will be about two sisters with very different personalities. Over the summer, Lawrence revealed it’s because of her this collaboration happened. “I watched Trainwreck and I was like, ‘Yep, we’re made for each other,’ and then I reached out and everything just happened so quickly,” she explained to ET.
