Lady Gaga Presents Her ‘Fashion Guard’ for V Magazine, Teases New Collaboration With Intel

Taylor Talks Gaga Wedding
Find out what the future Mr. Gaga had to say!

Lady Gaga’s ARTPOP could mean anything, but right now it means 16 different covers for V Magazine’s 99th issue and the exciting announcement of a new performance.

For the last week, our good Lady has slowly been releasing covers for V’s 99th issue, which she guest edited. So far, eight covers have been released and another eight are expected. Several of the released covers feature Gaga (one features Gaga gripping a topless Daphne Guinness’ breast with her iconic American Horror Story: Hotel glove), while others feature Karl Lagerfeld, Hedi Slimane, the late Alexander McQueen, the late Isabella Blow, and the aforementioned Guinness. Most covers were photographed by Gaga’s frequent collaborator, Steven Klein. View all of the released covers in the gallery below.

A few images from inside the magazine have also made their way onto the internet. Below, see Gaga and Guinness honoring McQueen.

Of the issue, Gaga has this to say (via Gaga Daily):

“This is the church of fashion. If you don’t have respect for what Daphne and Steven Klein and I are doing, you don’t have a clue, really. Daphne reminds me that it’s okay to be in pain all the time. She taught me to go for it. Always. F–k it. People just can’t understand being in pain constantly for art. The way we handle emotional pain is by inflicting some sort of physical pain on ourselves for an art that we love.”

In other exciting news, yesterday (Jan. 5, 2016) Intel announced at CES that a collaboration with Gaga(‘s Haus) is forthcoming. Little is known about what form their collaboration will take, though it will definitely “culminate” in a performance that may or may not take place during the 2016 Grammys on Feb. 15. Watch the video below to get a sneak peek at the vague — but exciting! — project.

Leave it to Gaga to attempt to invent the uninventable. Can’t wait. Welcome to the #LG5 era, friends.
