Lady Gaga Fights Against Internet Trolls Harassing Females Because She’s a Queen

It wouldn’t be a day that ended in ‘y’ if Lady Gaga wasn’t winning at life.

The singer’s Born This Way Foundation is collaborating with Intel, Vox Media, and Re/code to battle against the online harassment of females and other minority groups. Fortune reports that their initiative, Hack Harassment, will commence with a series of “hackathons” that will aim to promote an inclusive online experience for all users. Stats show that 40% of adult Internet users describe experiencing physical threats, cyber-bullying, and sexual harassment.

“We need to remember that behind every device, game, sensor or network is a real person with real feelings and real needs for safety,” Intel CEO Brian Krzanich stressed in a statement.
