Serena Williams Doesn’t Know What ‘Netflix & Chill’ Means

She simply does not have time for your innuendos.

Serena Williams is here to solve all of you love life problems, but first, she has to make sure she understands them. Williams contributed to this month’s Harpers Bazaar’s “Love Letters” column, solving relationship dilemma’s for readers. While it’s clear Williams knows a thing or two about love, there are still some things even she is completely clueless about.

Williams offers her words of wisdom to a reader who didn’t know what to wear on a first date, “Always add heels.” And another reader who needed help balancing being sexy and strong, “Being sexy is really about how you carry yourself. Strength and confidence equal sexy.” But when it came to breaking down “Netflix & Chill,” she was a little lost.

When asked the question, “I’ve always thought that ‘Netflix and chill’ really meant watching Netflix and chilling. Am I naive?” Williams admitted to being just as clueless, “I have to tell you, I thought the same exact thing. When I say ‘Netflix and chill,’ that’s what
I mean. I guess you and I are just old-fashioned—if you can call Netflix old-fashioned!”

Considering Williams was last linked to Drake, it’s a little hard to believe she had no idea what the saying really means. Either way, it’s nice to know some people can literally just watch Netflix and chill, even Drake.
