REPORT: Mary-Kate & Ashley Olsen Could Guest Star on ‘Fuller House’ Season 2

Michelle Tanner might come visit on season 2 of Fuller House!

According to HollywoodLife, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, now fashion moguls, are feeling the itch to return to the role that started their careers. After all, the rest of the original cast reassembled to launch Netflix’s reboot, why not get in on the fun?

“There is still a chance we will see the Olsen Twins on the show in the future and in a future season,” a source told HollywoodLife. So what’s stopping them?

Although anticipation for the new show is reaching a fever pitch, the Olsen sisters have lingering doubts about whether it will be what fans are hoping for.

“The girls are going to wait and see it and see how it is accepted before they move forward with it,” the source said. “They both understand that there is a lot of excitement surrounding it but they keep asking the question, ‘What if it is bad?’”

The new show will center on DJ (Candace Cameron-Bure), her sister Stephanie (Jodie Sweetin), and her friend Kimmy (Andrea Barber) as they take on parenthood. Apparently Michelle Tanner won’t appear on the show because she is in New York pursuing a career in fashion, which you have to admit is clever.

The main members of the original cast including Danny (Bob Saget), Joey (Dave Coulier), Aunt Becky (Lori Loughlin) and Uncle Jesse (John Stamos) will all be making guest appearances as well.

Although Mary-Kate and Ashley are practically the only two people in America who don’t think the new show will be a runaway success, we’re hoping their minds are quickly changed and we finally get an appearance from Michelle!
