Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth Are Basically ‘Back Together and Very Happy’

Miley Cyrus "Never Really Got Over" Liam Hemsworth
Insiders gush about these two's enduring love story.

It’s back on!

Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth have rekindled their romance after more than two years apart. According to People, the couple, who got engaged in 2012 before breaking up a year later, are picking up right where they left off — which might explain why Cyrus was spotted wearing her old 3.5-carat Neil Lane engagement ring from Hemsworth.

“Miley is where she has wanted to be for the past two years. Back with Liam and very happy,” a source close to Cyrus tells the publication. “Miley never wanted to split. Things just got so bad that they really needed the break.”

“Now reunited, Miley seems ecstatic,” the insider continues. “She loves her life and is excited about the future. She always loved her engagement ring and was very proud of it.”

It seems like Cyrus, 23, and Hemsworth, 26, aren’t slowing down when it comes to making up for lost time. After spending the holidays with her boyfriend’s family, Cyrus was recently seen unloading her things off of a U-Haul truck in front of Hemsworth’s Los Angeles home. Her five dogs were also in tow, prompting rumors that the two were in the process of moving in together.

So, does this mean Cyrus and Hemsworth’s wedding is back on? Not quite.

“There is no date,” the source says. “But they are back together and very happy.”

Cyrus and Hemsworth began dating after meeting on the set of 2010’s The Last Song. According to Cyrus, they called of their engagement because she was “so scared of ever being alone” and couldn’t be herself around Hemsworth when they were together.
