Saturday Night Live is toughing it out tonight in the face of the snowstorm that has left much of Manhattan shut down for business, according to People magazine.

Broadway shows scheduled for Saturday have been cancelled by the Broadway League as a result of public transport shutdowns throughout Manhattan.

Additionally, many movie theaters in the city will also be going dark during the storm while the Governor of New York, Andrew Cuomo has announced the city in a state of emergency.

However, Saturday Night Live will be broadcast as scheduled at 11:30 p.m., continuing a 40-year-long tradition of live broadcast television with host Ronda Rousey and musical guest, Selena Gomez.
