Liam Hemsworth Didn’t Actually Propose to Miley Cyrus for a Second Time

As it turns out, Liam Hemsworth didn’t get down to one knee when he got engaged to Miley Cyrus for the second time around.

According to Us Weekly, Hemsworth, who recently reconciled and moved in with Cyrus two years after calling off their engagement, “never formally proposed again” to his girlfriend. A source tells the publication that Cyrus, 23, just started wearing her old 3.5-carat Neil Lane engagement ring from Hemsworth, 26, and the Hunger Games actor took it as a sign that things were back on.

“Liam noticed,” the insider says. “They are telling friends they’re engaged.”

The exes reportedly started hanging out again after Cyrus broke up with Patrick Schwarzenegger last April. A pal close to the twosome claims “things started getting romantic” when Cyrus flew to Australia for the holidays to spend time with Hemsworth’s family. Since then, Cyrus was seen unloading her things off of a U-Haul truck in front of Hemsworth’s Los Angeles home.

However, these two lovebirds’ actual wedding is still quite far away. As previously reported, the duo are just simply enjoying their time together before taking the big marital plunge.

“There is no date,” a source recently told People. “But they are back together and very happy.”

Cyrus and Hemsworth were previously got engaged in 2012 before parting ways a year later. They met on the 2010’s The Last Song.
