The Countess Will Sing Our Nation’s Anthem at Super Bowl 50

America’s greatest treasures will soon become one.

Lady Gaga will be performing the national anthem at Super Bowl 50 on Sunday, Feb. 7 at Levi’s Stadium, as reported by Variety. She will serve as the appetizer round to halftime show performances by Coldplay and Beyoncé, giving those of us who are not sports-minded a reason to watch the game (aside from the commercials and taco dip).

This news arrives shortly after it was revealed that Gaga will be paying tribute to the late David Bowie at the 2016 Grammy Awards.

Please get your life in the mean time by watching her performance of The Star-Spangled Banner from the New York City Pride Rally in 2013 in the video at the top of the page.
