WATCH: Jacob Tremblay, Miniature Guru, Was Basically Leonardo DiCaprio’s Good Luck Charm

Where did this kid come from?

Jacob Tremblay, 101-year-old man packed inside the body of a 9-year-old actor, revealed to Ellen DeGeneres that his meeting with Leonardo DiCaprio at the SAG Awards was more of an honor for DiCaprio than it was for him. Tremblay tells DeGeneres that he used his ninja kid powers to skip DiCaprio’s long reception line.

“I noticed a huge line of people trying to meet him, but I was like, ‘Oh, I’m a kid, I can skip it!'”

The Room actor uses logic to conclude that his interaction with DiCaprio was the reason that he took home the big award for his role in The Revenant. “I said hi! And then I said good luck to him, and he then he said good luck to me,” Tremblay explained. “And he won, right? But I didn’t win. So if you want to win, you just have to come up to me.”

Tremblay told DeGeneres that it’s “funny” living under the rule of a “hot dad”. “My mom calls my dad now ‘hot dad’,” he laughs. He also reveals that he wants to be a script writer and a director when he grows up, but keeps his ideas under wraps.

“I don’t think I should tell you because I don’t want some Steven Spielberg, George Lucas=, J.J. Abrams to come and make millions of dollars off of my ideas,” he warns DeGeneres.
