Zayn Malik Releases Acoustic Version of ‘Pillowtalk’, Decides Jimmy Fallon Is Worthy for His Debut Solo TV Appearance

Zayn Malik has gone acoustic with “Pillowtalk,” and there’s no turning back.

In other news, he’ll finally be making his debut solo TV appearance after canceling all of his other scheduled appearances.

Who is worthy enough? That would be Jimmy Fallon and The Tonight Show.

Malik is set to appear on the late night talk show on Feb. 17, marking his first appearance as a solo artist ahead of his highly anticipated debut album, Mind of Mine, which will be available March 25th on RCA Records.

“Pillowtalk,” Malik’s first single, was released Friday and has been #1 on the Spotify global charts ever since. It also hit the #1 on the iTunes chart in 68 countries, and the video has amassed 38 million views in six days. Now he’s released an acoustic (“Living Room Session”) version, in which he shows off his falsetto. Here’s a clip:
