Teresa Giudice Will Be Returning to ‘The Real Housewives of New Jersey’ for Season 7

Teresa Giudice Released from House Arrest
Finally Free to Roam All of New Jersey

Teresa Giudice will be resuming her post as a housewife, now that she’s finished her stint in prison for fraud.

Bravo announced Monday (Feb. 8) that Real Housewives of New Jersey will be coming back for Season 7, and that former members Giudice, Melissa Gorga and Jacqueline Laurita are set to return.

Giudice was released from prison just before the 2015 holidays, and was released from house arrest just last week. The fate of the series was up in the air in late 2014, back when Giudice was sentenced to prison. Season six of RHONJ also wrapped in November that year.

The 43-year-old told Bravo’s blog The Daily Dish,

I am very excited to be back. For me, this season is all about letting go of the past and embracing the future. People are calling me Teresa 2.0.

According to the site, the new episodes will “follow Teresa as she mends the relationships in her life following her release from prison in December 2015.” Meanwhile, Teresa’s husband Joe will soon be reporting to prison for a 41-month sentence, with possible deportation to Italy to follow.

Gorga, Teresa’s sister-in-law, said in a statement to The Daily Dish, “We’re back! This season for me is all about family, fun, friendships and fashion. I can’t wait for you to see what we’ve been up to and how much our kids have grown.”

And Laurita added, “I’m baaaaack! I can’t get enough of my Bravo family! Sometimes a little break is all I need to jump back in and bring my best! Looking forward to new beginnings. XOXO.”

A premiere date and additional cast members are to be announced at a later date.
