Kanye West Claims in Post-Yeezy Season 3 Rant that Taylor Swift Came up with that Lyric About Her

Alleged blessings on blessings.

Kanye West decided that the focus of today’s Twitter rant would be dedicated to setting the record straight about that lyric referencing Taylor Swift in his song “Famous” that he debuted yesterday at the Yeezy Season 3 fashion event.

West poetically muses in the lyric, “I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex / I made that bitch famous.”

Swift’s representative released a statement following reports from TMZ that stated that she approved the song ahead of its release. “She declined and cautioned him about releasing a song with such a strong misogynistic message,” reads the note, via The New York Times.

But of course, West had thoughts of his own on the matter and took to his favorite social media platform to express them in full.

“Stop trying to demonize real artist. Stop trying to compromise art,” he continued. “That’s why music is so fucking watered down right now. I miss that DMX feeling … I miss that feeling so that’s what I want to help restore.”

“It felt like a seen [sic] from The Warriors ALL GODS ALL GODS ALL GODS in the buildin,” West concluded. “Not just the famous people there but the kids the moms the dads the families that came to share this moment with us.”

Swift’s brother Austin responded to the lyric by throwing his Yeezy trainers in the garbage can on Instagram. Actress Ruby Rose also offered her two cents on the show, addressing the 1989 singer, victims of Bill Cosby and Amber Rose.
