Taylor Swift‘s squad has her back.
Selena Gomez had a little something to say about her BFF’s reignited feud with Kanye West. Just days after the rapper revealed that his song “Famous” contains some controversial lyrics about the “Bad Blood” singer, her famous friends have been speaking out about it. Now, it’s SelGo’s turn to chime in.
“Everybody has their own opinion,” she told SiriusXM. “At the end of the day, you can just do what you do.” The song, in which West raps, “I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex. Why? I made that bitch famous,” has caused quite an uproar. So much so that he later took to Twitter to defend himself and say that Swift approved of the lyrics beforehand.
But regardless of the controversial lyrics, the “Hands to Myself” singer made a valid point, adding, “She’s killing it and she kind of always has been.” Other famous friends that have defended Swift include, Ruby Rose, Jaime King, Gigi Hadid, and more.
However, it was her brother Austin who really made his disapproval of the song loud and clear. He took to Instagram following West’s Yeezy Season 3 show to share a video of himself throwing out his Yeezy sneakers. Both Gomez and Calvin Harris liked the video in support.
