Here’s Why Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck Haven’t Filed for Divorce Yet

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner Are Starting to Annoy Each Other
The co-habitating exes are reportedly starting to get on each other's nerves.

There’s a reason why Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck’s marriage isn’t legally over.

According to People, the former couple, who announced their split last June after 10 years of marriage, are holding off filing the official divorce papers because they’re both trying to work on themselves at the moment. Though they’ve been separated for more than six months, the parents-of-three are still adjusting to the new “breathing room” in their respective lives.

“She’s been able to focus on herself,” a source tells the publication about Garner. “She made an effort to start the year fresh, and she is having a good year so far. She doesn’t find her private life ideal, but she has accepted it.”

“It’s hard to picture her dating before the divorce is finalized,” the insider continues, adding that “Ben is not dating anyone” either.

Garner and Affleck, both 43, have been amicable for the sake of their children: Violet, 10, Seraphina, 7, and Samuel, 3. While an industry source claims to two are “not [best] friends” anymore, the exes are said to “share in the joy of their children.”

The twosome were recently spotted spending Valentine’s Day together with their kids. The family reportedly headed up to Montana as the children have a “ski week break at school.”

Affleck is currently living in a guesthouse on the same property Garner resides.

“They are doing it their own way,” an insider close to the family says of their impending divorce, noting that it could a long time for everything to be finalized. “And that way works for them right now.”

“They’re working out the details, but it seems nothing has changed,” a source adds. “They are moving forward with their plans.”

Sorry, folks. Love is still dead in 2016.
