Kristen Stewart Just Wants to ‘F*ckin Dance More’

Can she live?

Kristen Stewart just wants to “dance like nobody was watching.”

Covering AnOther magazine’s 15th anniversary S/S16 issue (Volume 2 issue 3), K-Stew looks utterly dreamy in the party-inspired photo series shot by Paolo Roversi and styled by Katie Shillingford.

She told the magazine, also featuring covers with Grimes, Kate Moss and Björk, “I know when I meet someone if we’re gonna jive and dance. And I do not want to construct anything with anyone. I wanna fuckin’ dance.”

As for dancing for herself, she commented:

I wish I could dance like nobody was watching. I danced the other night and it felt so fuckin’ good. And it’s so not like me. I envy people like that so much. I’m pretty physical, but I really need to let myself go. Honestly, I just wish I could fuckin’ dance more. That’s all.

AnOther writer Benn Northover takes note of Stewart’s intense “total focus” during their interview, in which she also comments on how many of her contemporaries in Hollywood are “interested in selling a life as if it’s a comic book story.”

People who are interested in selling a life as if it’s a comic book story? It’s just money, money, money, money. It’s just bullshit distraction, and a lot of people make a lot of money on that, because we wanna get distracted.

And distracted, Stewart is not. She’s got multiple projects with big named directors lined up this year (such as Woody Allen, Kelly Reichardt, Ang Lee and Olivier Assayas) and has a keen interest in becoming a director herself in the future.

When it comes to fucking up though (unclear whether she’s talking about in her work or personal life – i.e. that time she stepped out on ex-boyfriend Robert Pattinson with her Snow White and the Huntsman director Rupert Sanders – or both), she’s not one to deny that it happens. Quoting the new tattoo she has on her arm (“one more time with feeling”), she explained:

I fuck up a lot. But it never stops. The work never stops. ‘One more time with feeling. Do it again, do it again. Oh, you think you fucked up? You don’t think that was good enough? Sweet, do it again, do it again, do it again.’
