Lady Gaga Comes Out of Nowhere, Joins Kendall Jenner on the Marc Jacobs Runway

Slow clap for the queen of cool.

Lady Gaga continued in her efforts of world domination by taking her talents to the runway, making an appearance in the Marc Jacobs Fall/Winter 2016 show on Thursday, Feb. 18. The show, which closed out New York Fashion Week, also featured runway model of recent #MyCalvins fame, Kendall Jenner.

Gaga insisted on being treated like the other models according to WWD. She arrived at the Park Avenue Armory at 3:30 p.m., checked in at the model table and had her hair and makeup done in the same room backstage.

She was an effortless tableaux for Jacob’s vision of Victorian gothic, which fashion writer Leandra Medine describes as being inspired by the “anti-establishmentarianism of punk”.

Gaga was recently dressed in the designer’s David Bowie costume for her tribute performance to the late singer at the 2016 Grammy Awards.
