Khloé Kardashian Admits That She Still Texts Her Ex-Boyfriends
Khloé Kardashian is all about love.
In a new post on her app, the 31-year-old opens about the L-word and her part relationships. As someone who isn’t afraid of her feelings, Kardashian claims there’s “no such thing as too soon” for someone to drop the L-bomb. In fact, she says her comfortability with showing affection is what makes her so great with her ex-boyfriends.
Now that she’s called it quits with James Harden, Kardashian admits that she’s not afraid to hit her exes once in a while to see how they’re doing. (But not in a booty call sort of way, she insists.)
“When I’m in a relationship, I’m very verbally validating and communicative. I’m not afraid to say “I love you.” When I say those words, I’m not trying to get anything out of it—I don’t need to hear it in return because I like being vulnerable,” she explains. “I’m all for positive affirmations at any stage of a relationship. It just means I appreciate you and enjoy spending time with you.”
“Guys that I’ve dated have always said things like, ‘No one’s ever made me feel this way. You get me to admit that I care about you so quickly.’ That’s because I’m not playing games. I take pride in the fact that I’m not afraid to show love!” she continues. “It takes way more courage to show love than to act like I don’t give a fuck. So many people want to act so cool—it’s like, who are you impressing???”
She adds, “If I want to call you, I’ll call you. I’m not overthinking it. I’m not a game player AT ALL. Even with exes, if I’m wondering how they’re doing, I send them a text. I’m not trying to sleep with them! I just want to check in and that should be OK. No games, just LOVE!”
No wonder she’s so close to estranged husband Lamar Odom then.
