Demián Bichir, who most recently portrayed the unscrupulous Bob in Quentin Tarantino’s The Hateful Eight, has been cast in Ridley Scott’s Alien: Covenant, the sequel to 2012’s Prometheus. The cast already includes Noomi Rapace, Michael Fassbender, Katherine Waterston and Danny McBride. [Deadline]

The cast of Fifty Shades Freed appears close to completion. The newest addition is Brant Daugherty. The actor, best known for his recurring role on ABC Family’s Pretty Little Liars, will be playing Sawyer, the bodyguard to Anastasia Steele (Dakota Johnson).
