2016 Brit Awards: Adele Publicly Supports Kesha During Acceptance Speech, Rihanna Shows Up to Perform

What a woman.

Adele publicly showed her support for Kesha at tonight’s 2016 Brit Awards in light of the pop star’s ongoing sexual assault case and legal battle with Dr. Luke.

The 25 singer picked up the award for British Female Solo Artist, and got a little choked up expressing during her speech, “I’d also like to take this moment to publicly support Kesha,” according to The Guardian.

Stars like Lady Gaga, Miley Cyrus, Lena Dunham, Taylor Swift, Demi Lovato and more have all spoken out in support of Kesha in one way or another.

Meanwhile, Rihanna is scheduled to perform at tonight’s annual Brit Awards celebrating pop music. Fingers crossed she doesn’t bail like she did the Grammys!

Both musicians walked the red carpet, Adele in a cranberry-colored gown and Rihanna wearing a shimmery pink dress, sporting a short black bob.
