‘Fuller House’ Renewed for Second Season
The Tanners are just getting started!
Fuller House, Netflix’s revival of the hit ‘90s sitcom has been granted a second season. This news comes less than a week after the first season was released on February 26, indicating the streaming giant is seeing big returns on their investment.
The new show is set twenty years after the original series and centers on now-grown D.J. Tanner-Fuller, who is recently widowed and enlists her sister Stephanie and her friend Kimmy Gibbler to help raise her kids.
Most of the original cast make an appearance including Bob Saget, Dave Coulier, John Stamos, Jodie Sweetin, Candace Cameron-Bure, Andrea Barber and Lori Loughlin. Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen have yet to agree to join the cast.
It appears nostalgia will be a powerful card in Netflix’s deck, recently green-lighting a Gilmore Girls revival as well!
