Calvin Harris Reportedly ‘Refuses’ to Collaborate with Girlfriend Taylor Swift
There will be no Talvin music in the near future.
Calvin Harris and Taylor Swift may be one of the highest-earning celebrity couples in the world, but that doesn’t mean a musical collaboration will ever happen. The “How Deep Is Your Love” DJ reportedly refuses to work with his famous girlfriend because he worries it could jeopardize their relationship.
“Calvin’s next single is ready but the label is keen for him to get a big female U.S. star to collaborate on it,” an insides tells British newspaper, The Sun. “They floated the idea of him working with Taylor but he politely declined it.” If these reports are true, Harris does have a point. Especially considering all the drama that unfolded with his ex Rita Ora.
The former couple split in 2014 after hitting the studio together to work on a number of songs, including “I Will Never Let You Down”. However, after the break-up, Harris reportedly refused her permission to perform the track on TV, forcing her to cancel shows.
Apparently now, he’s in talks to get Beyoncé on one of his tracks.
