Good Charlotte Will Go on Tour After a 6-Year Break and Release a New Album that Will Inspire You to Live Your Raddest Life

Bring on the tears of joy to get that eyeliner running.

Rock band of your emo teenage dreams Good Charlotte announced on Monday (Mar. 15) that they will be heading out on tour with an all-new album this summer.

“The new album is like our previous albums in that it’s for people who love music and are constantly motivated and trying to live a rad life,” the band boasted in an official statement. “Everyone has something to prove to themselves, waking up every day and deciding to change their life for the better and help others do the same.”

“GC has always been about doing this together, motivating each other, finding the unity and energy that exists in taking life’s challenges and coming out on the other side,” the statement continued. “It’s about being inspired and excited to be both who you are and who you want to be.”

This will be the band’s first album since Cardiology which was released in 2010. Benji and Joel Madden debuted their first album in 2000 prior to the 2002 success of The Young and the Hopeless.
