The Casting Call for a New Han Solo Has Been Narrowed Down to These 3 Actors

Filling Harrison Ford’s shoes won’t be easy, but these actors could have what it takes…

The hunt for a young Han Solo was been going on for years, literally. Now the Hollywood Reporter claims the crop of Han hopefuls has been narrowed significantly. Recently, screen tests were conducted in London for the coveted role with directors Phil Lord and Christopher Miller for the standalone film, and these are the three men hoping to someday play the notorious smuggler… 

First up is  Alden Ehrenreich. He’s made a name for himself in films such as Stoker, Blue Jasmine and most recently in Hail, Caesar! Also up is Jack Reynor, who appeared in Transformers: Age of Extinction and alongside Michael Fassbender in the latest film adaptation of MacBeth. And last but certainly not least is the British actor Taron Egerton who starred in Kingsman and the inspirational sports pic Eddie the Eagle with Hugh Jackman.
