There Will Be a ‘Parenthood’ Reunion in the ‘Gilmore Girls’ Revival
Lauren Graham’s other onscreen daughter is heading to Stars Hollow.
Mae Whitman, who appeared alongside Graham on NBC’s Parenthood for six seasons, will make an appearance in Netflix’s upcoming Gilmore Girls revival. TV Line reports that the actress will “share a fun (albeit small) moment” with her former TV mom. No other details regarding Whitman’s role have been revealed.
Previously, Whitman — like the rest of us — gushed about her excitement for the return of the beloved Amy Sherman-Palladino series, tweeting in January:

Whitman also joked about meeting Graham’s other onscreen offspring, Alexis Bledel’s Rory Gilmore, when all three of them crossed paths at the 2015 ATX TV Festival. At the time, the actress shared a photo of her pouting with her so-called arch nemesis, writing on Twitter, “AT LONG LAST WE MEET.”

Graham and Whitman played mother-and-daughter duo Sarah Braverman and Amber Holt on Parenthood from 2010 to 2015.
