Watch: Iggy Azalea Was Searched to Make Sure She Wasn’t a Bad Influence on Britney Spears
“I don’t have like, a crack den.”
Last night (Mar. 24, 2016), Iggy Azalea stopped by Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen and held nothing back. She spilled on her upcoming wedding with Nick Young, whether or not they have sex on game days (it gives him special powers apparently), and how she really feels about Nicki Minaj claiming she doesn’t write her own raps. But the most interesting thing she revealed, has to be about one-time collaborator Britney Spears.
When talking about the pop queen, Azalea revealed she invited the singer over for lunch before they were set to record “Pretty Girls,” to get to know each other. But before Spears could make an appearance, the rapper’s entire home was searched by the pop princesses’ people to make sure she wasn’t a bad influence on the singer. “They came and checked my place to make sure I wasn’t trying to stash anything weird and, like, give it to her, or something,” she told Cohen.
A confused Cohen asked, “Wait, Britney had advance people come scope out the place?” Azalea insisted, “Yeah, to make sure I wasn’t a bad influence. And I’m not. I passed the test! I was like, ‘I promise, I’m not gonna do anything bad. I just want to have lunch.’ I mean, I don’t do anything weird. I don’t have, like, a crack den.”
While searching Azalea’s home seems a bit extreme the decision most likely wasn’t made by Spears herself, as she’s been under very strict conservatorship since her 2007 breakdown.
