“I’m open to anything.”
Gwyneth Paltrow is not shy about the lengths she’ll go and money she’ll spend, to stay beautiful. From pricey creams to juice cleanses, nothing seems to be off-limits for the actress, but her latest admission is somewhat shocking. Talking to the New York TimesFashion and Style section, Paltrow laid out her beauty routine, including face and body oils, serums, and obviously products from her Goop line, but it’s the “Other Services” she participates in that’s got everyone talking.
“But generally, I’m open to anything. I’ve been stung by bees,” she admitted before explaining, “It’s a thousands of years old treatment called apitherapy. People use it to get rid of inflammation and scarring.” In case you were wondering, yes it hurts, a lot.
Even though Paltrow is willing to withstand the pain of bee stings and can’t wait to try cryotherapy, there is one healing/beauty service she’s skeptical about. “I just heard of a service called a sound bath, which might be too hippie-ish even for the likes of me. It’s some new healing modality. I might not be able to handle it.”
