Chris Hemsworth and Elsa Pataky’s $3.45 Million ‘Crash Pad’ Is Still Nicer Than Your House
Despite recently announcing their plans to relocate their family to Australia, Chris Hemsworth and Elsa Pataky can’t get enough of the California weather.
The parent-of-three, who put their five-bedroom, six-bathroom mansion on the market for $6.5 million earlier this year, have just dropped big bucks on another pricey property that’s just a stone’s throw away from their old Malibu digs. According to Trulia, The Huntsman: Winter’s War star and his actress wife have splashed out $3.45 million on a home-away-from-home for their clan to stay at when either one of them needs to return stateside for work.
Built in 1979, the renovated contemporary-style abode sits at 4,612 square feet and boasts four bedrooms and five bathrooms. Though it’s a little smaller than their previous home, it’s equally fancy in its features. Offering mountain and ocean views, the residence includes a chef’s kitchen with emerald quartz countertops and Sub-Zero appliances, a 750-bottle refrigerated wine cellar, a state-of-the art home theater, outdoor barbecue area with fire pit, lush gardens, and a master suite with dual walk-in closets and Calcutta gold marble fixtures in the bathroom.
