Check Out This Behind-the-Scenes Look at ‘Kong: Skull Island’
This movie is going to be a (big, harry) monster!
During the MTV Movie Awards, a brief behind-the-scenes video for Kong: Skull Island was released teasing an ambitious, star-studded adventure.
“They get to this island and discover that all is not quite as it first appeared,” Hiddleston says. “And there are strange, new creatures, mythic beasts and they have to get off the island alive.”

Larson plays Weaver, a photojournalist, while Hiddleston is Captain James Conrad, a former British SAS officer. They lead a mysterious mission to the titular island and there presumably things start to go awry.
The film will take place in the ‘70s, while Americans were feeling the aftermath of the Vietnam War, which could add some interesting layers to this story.
Also, this cast is just ridiculous…besides Hiddleston and Larson, the film stars Samuel L. Jackson, John Goodman, Tom Wilkinson, John C. Reilly, and Straight Outta Compton stars Corey Hawkins and Jason Mitchell.
If a big creature feature is your jam, this one shouldn’t disappoint. The short clip also includes cars flipping, fields on fire, and the cast strolling through what appears to be a wooly mammoth carcass. Enjoy!
Kong: Skull Island arrives on March 10, 2017.
