Channing Tatum Joins the Cast of ‘Kingsman: The Golden Circle’

Channing Tatum is going to get his secret service on.

The Magic Mike actor tweeted out on Wednesday (April 11) that he was joining the cast of Kingsman: The Golden Circle, the movie sequel to 2014’s Kingsman: The Secret Service starring Colin Firth, Mark Strong, Samuel L. Jackson and Taron Egerton.

“I’m about to get all up in that Golden Circle,” he wrote.

Variety sources also say that Elton John is in talks for a key role.

Kingsman: The Secret Service was based on the comic-book “The Secret Service” by Dave Gibbons and Mark Millar. Director Matthew Vaughn will be returning to direct from a script he co-wrote with Jane Goldman.

Egerton, Firth, and Strong are expected to reprise their roles. Halle Berry is in talks to star as the director of the CIA, while Julianne Moore will also be starring in the sequel.

Kingsman: The Golden Circle is set for a June 16, 2017.
