How to Get Khloé Kardashian’s Bronze Smokey Eye

This is how you get dolled up like a Kardashian.

It’s no secret that Khloé Kardashian’s makeup game is always on point. So, how does she do it?

In a recent post on Kardashian’s app, the Kocktails with Khloé host and her makeup artist, Joyce Bonelli, break down exactly how you can achieve a golden smokey eye like the bronzed goddess you are. Kardashian says she’s “OBSESSED with this glam.”

Here’s the products rundown:

foundation

Step 1: Foundation
Recommended: Diorskin Airflash Spray Foundation, $62

First, moisturize and prime your face before putting on any makeup.

For Kardashian, Bonelli sprayed a bit of this lightweight foundation onto a kabuki brush. She says one should use the brush to buff the product into the face for a “full, even coverage.”

bronzer

Step 2: Contour
Recommended: Benefit Cosmetics Hoola Matte Bronzer, $29; Estée Lauder Double Wear Brush-On Glow BB Pen, $29; Cocoa Brown Golden Goddess Oil, $17.36; Kevyn Aucoin The Pure Powder Glow, $37.

Bonelli defines Kardashian’s features by using different shades of products on specific parts of her face. She applies bronzer along the sides of the nose, the forehead near hairline, and and the hollows the cheekbones. In contrast, she applies the highlighter pen and shimmering body oil using her fingers on Kardashian’s cheekbones, center of nose, Cupid’s bow, and top of forehead.

For flushed cheeks, she recommends using the Kevyn Aucoin blush in Dolline, an apricot shade, and to swirl the brush around the compact before tapping off the excess. “Run the brush flat up the cheek bone, starting from the apple of the cheek, to structure the face,” she says.

Step 3: Eyes
Recommended: Lancome Color Design 5 Pan Eyeshadow Palette, $50; MAC Liquid Liner, $21; Lancome Virtuose Divine Lasting Curves Mascara, $26.98

For a cohesive look, Bonelli uses colors from the Lancome palette in Bronze Amour. She applues the neutral base color all over the eyelid and highlights the brow bone with the lightest shadow. Using the mid-color shadow, the lines the base of the lid close to the lash line and swipes the product into the crease and at the outer corner. With an angled brush, she then applies the darkest color at the very edge of lashes and at the outer corner of the eye. She blends the three colors together until the edges are no longer seen.

She finishes off the eye makeup with MAC’s liquid liner in Boot Black and mascara.

powder

Step 4: Powder
Recommended: YSL Souffle D’Eclat Finishing Veil, $60

To ensure that her work stays put, Bonelli gently applies on finishing powder to the face. According to her, doing this will “avoid creasing” in the foundation and “set your makeup.”

lipstick

Step 4: Lips
Recommended: MAC Satin Lipstick, $17

For the lips, Bonelli chooses a more neutral color as to not draw attention away from the smokey eye. For Kardashian, she uses MAC’s lipstick in Peachstock for the perfect pout.
