Lamar Odom May Play Basketball Again Alongside Khloé Kardashian’s Ex-Boyfriend
It’s a small world after all.
Lamar Odom has just been offered a chance to play basketball again. The fallen athlete is being given the chance to play in the Drew League, a prestigious coalition of six basketball teams established in 1973 that boasts current and former NBA players.
Baron Davis, who is a point guard for the Delaware 87ers, told TMZ that he’s publicly extending an offer for Odom to play after hearing that the 36-year-old wants to get back into sports again after his near-fatal drug overdose last year.
“I’m going to reach out to LO to see if he would want to play alongside me on my team since he is wanting to return,” he said.
Other famous members in the league include newly retired basketball legend Kobe Bryant and estranged wife Khloé Kardashian’s ex-boyfriend James Harden, who currently plays for the Houston Rockets. LeBron James and Kevin Durant have also played in the west coast pro-am to hone their skills during the NBA off-season.
Recently, Odom told Entertainment Tonight that he “still got it” and hopes to return to the court.
