Prince Spotted at Walgreens the Night Before His Death, Allegedly Began Writing a Memoir
Details and rumors about Prince’s final days are slowly trickling in.
Prince, who passed away on Apr. 21 at the age of 57, was seen at his local Walgreens the night before his death. TMZ obtained a photo of the prolific singer leaving the pharmacy around 7 p.m., which marked his fourth visit just this week. Eyewitnesses at the store tell the tabloid that he looked “much more frail and nervous than usual”, indicating a sharp health decline after his plane was forced to make an emergency landing due to his health scare last Friday, Apr. 15.
A separate report claims that Prince began writing his memoirs just a month ago, having finished somewhere around 50 pages at the time of his death. Some say that he knew that death was approaching based on his eerie issuing to the crowd at a concert on Saturday night.
“Wait a few days before you waste any prayers,” Prince told his fans in reassuring their concerns resultant of his hospitalization night prior.
Sources tell E! News that the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee was in great spirits over the last months leading up to his untimely death.
“Prince was extremely happy and up beat about life and his music a few weeks ago. His energy was high and he was feeling healthy,” the insider says. “He was an extremely private guy and had a few very close friends that he shared things with.”
