Is Rita Ora Actually ‘Becky with the Good Hair’?
Becky, is that you?
Beyonce sent the internet into an absolute meltdown Saturday night (Apr. 23, 2016) when she dropped her visual album Lemonade. While the entire album is life changing and at times heartbreaking, it was a single line in “Sorry,” that really got fans talking. After continually alluding to husband’s Jay Z’s infidelity, Bey seemingly calls out the woman he cheated on her with singing, “He only want me when I’m not there / He better call Becky with the good hair.”
Immediately fans tried to identify “Becky.” First attacking Rachel Roy after she uploaded an ill-timed Instagram with a caption about “Good hair.” Then Rachael Ray, because well apparently, O and A are hard to differentiate between. Now the Beyhive thinks they’ve found the real “Becky,” singer, Rita Ora.
Yesterday (Apr. 24, 2016) Ora posted a selfie to SnapChat wearing a bra with lemon appliques covering her nipples and a chain that looks to have the letter J hanging from it.
That was all the confirmation the Beyhive needed to send their full forces to drag Ora on social media. In no time, just like the Rachel’s before her, her Instagram comments and Twitter mentions were filled with Bee and lemon emojis.

While the likelihood of anyone finding out who “Becky with the good hair” really is, is slim to none, this isn’t the first time Ora has been accused of causing a rift in Jay Z and Beyonce’s marriage. It had long been rumored that the rapper was sleeping around with one of his protege’s, so when pictures like this hit the internet, Ora was suspect #1.

In the 2014 interview with The Breakfast Club, host Charlamange the God asked Ora about the rumors she and the rapper were “boiking,” to which Ora simply replied, “Don’t you dare disrespect Beyonce like that ever again in your entire life.”
While the singer was quick to stand up for Beyonce in 2014, her relationship with the Carter’s has changed drastically since them. Both Ora and Jay Z have slapped each other with lawsuits, with the rap mogul claiming the singer failed to fulfill her contractual duties of producing five albums, and the singer accusing his label of not focusing on her music career, in favor of shifting their focus to representing athletes. Could their lawsuits be more personal than any of us thought?
Ora has yet to publically comment on the Beyhive’s latest accusations.
