Kesha and Zedd Are in the Studio Together, Possibly Making New Music
Kesha’s comeback might be happening sooner than you think.
Fans spotted Kesha — and her rainbow-colored hair — sitting by a soundboard in a photo the DJ shared on his Instagram this week. Though Zedd never named the identity of his female companion, Kesha’s bright ‘do almost immediately gave her away.

“Very very sorry to hear about the whole situation. I’ll be happy to produce a song for you if you want my help,” Zedd tweeted at the time.
Since then, Kesha joined Zedd during his set on the first weekend of the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival to provide vocals for his song, “True Colors.” The surprise appearance was Kesha’s first live performance in months.
Earlier this month, Kesha claimed Sony offered to release her from Dr. Luke’s Kemosabe Records, which operates under the company’s umbrella, if she would publicly retract her allegations of sexual assault against the producer.
“I got offered my freedom IF i were to lie. I would have to APOLOGIZE publicly and say that I never got raped,” she wrote in an Instagram post. “THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS behind closed doors. I will not take back the TRUTH. I would rather let the truth ruin my career than lie for a monster ever again.”
Later, a New York judge rejected Kesha’s claim that she was a Sony “slave” with Dr. Luke as “her master” because the record label had already provided her the opportunity to work with other producers.
Kesha still has a case pending against Dr. Luke in Los Angeles.
