Amber Rose Is Getting Her Own Talk Show
Get ready, Muva Rose is headed to television!
Today (May 3, 2016), it was announced that Amber Rose will be hosting a show about motherhood, relationships and pop culture for VH1. Not only that, apparently media mogul Dr. Phil has signed on to produce the new show.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Rose’s show will feature frank conversation between the model-turned-host and her celebrity friends. We’re going to go ahead and assumer alcohol will be involved as well.
Chris McCarthy, the GM for VH1 released a statement about the new show:
“Amber has inspired millions of young women by overcoming homelessness to become a wildly successful entrepreneur. A true multihyphenate, she is a devoted mother, a strong advocate for women’s rights and a celebrated author all of which make her an ideal host. Amber is a perfect addition to the VH1 family because our audience is interested in hearing unique perspectives from those who are unapologetically themselves and not afraid to take a stand on issues they are passionate about.”
This is just the latest business venture for Rose after releasing a book, How to Be a Bad Bitch, an emoji app, MUVAmoji, and appearing on a number of shows like ABC’s Black-ish.
“I am very excited to be joining forces with such an amazing network to deliver a fresh perspective on the primetime talk show,” said the 32-year-old in a statement. “Join us as we break all the rules and redefine late-night. Watch out Fallon, here comes Muva!”
