WATCH: Tituss Burgess and John Stamos Sing ‘Kiss The Girl’ from ‘The Little Mermaid’

“Sha lalalalala”

Titus Burgess has a lot to celebrate theses days. He just launched a wine label, season two of Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt just hit Netflix, and he’s set to star as Sebastian the crab in the Hollywood Bowl version of The Little Mermaid. Last night (May. 2, 2016), Burgess stopped by The Late Late Show with James Corden with his The Little Mermaid co-star John Stamos, and Stamos couldn’t let the night go by without Burgess showing off his vocal chops.

After being asked where they would go if they could fly anywhere in the world (Burgess appropriately answered “right into the Carter’s kitchen and try some of the lemonade”), Stamos began singing “Kokomo,” by The Beach Boys. While channeling his inner Uncle Jesse he noted that while his singing voice is rather low, Burgess, on the other hand, can hit a few high notes, “Give me the highest note you have,” he urged him.

“Oh God, I can’t do that right now!” Burgess insisted, but Stamos wouldn’t let him get off that easy. “You want to hear something from The Little Mermaid?” he asked the audience, before assisting Burgess in an amazing rendition of “Kiss The Girl.”
