Robert Downey Jr. Wouldn’t Mind Waking Up as Chris Hemsworth Tomorrow

Women want to be with Chris Hemsworth, and men want to be Chris Hemsworth – even men like Robert Downey Jr.

The Iron Man actor revealed in a new interview with Good Morning America that if he could be any other superhero, he’d be the Thor-playing Hemsworth brother.

Totally understandable, given Hemsworth’s good looks, great sense of humor and basically perfect body.

The 5′ 9″ actor also envies Hemsworth’s height, joking, “To not have to stand on an apple box to kiss Gwyneth Paltrow would be great.”

Downey Jr., who stars opposite Chris Evans in the latest Marvel installment Captain America: Civil War, also revealed that he will one day hang up the suit – or armor, rather – once his contract is up.

It’s like any athlete. To me, when I come to really respect a player is when you realize you’re done, dude. Your stats aren’t keeping up. You’re at this age…please, hang up your jersey before you do something stupid and embarrass yourself.

No news on an Iron Man 4 yet, but the 51-year-old is signed on for Avengers 3 (2018) as well as the 2017 Spider-Man reboot.

In any case, we don’t enjoy flirting with the idea of the veteran actor (and highest-paid actor in the world) ending his run as the funny billionaire genius anytime soon, but we’re happy that his latest Marvel flick is finally out in theaters today (May 6).
