This Is Why a Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton Duet 'May Never Happen Again'
Blake Shelton's collaboration with girlfriend Gwen Stefani may have ended up on his new album.

They couldn’t take their eyes off each other.

During their performance of the duet “Go Ahead and Break My Heart” on Monday’s The Voice, Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani just couldn’t hide the chemistry between them.

The two sang the song, lovingly gazing at each other, and melting everyone’s heart in the audience. Watch above!

“This is one of my favorite songs I’ve ever written or recorded,” Shelton told E! when the performance was announced. “It came from a time and place when Gwen and I were beginning our journey together and both experiencing a hard time letting our guards down with each other. The song couldn’t possibly be more honest. I’m honored to have written and to perform this song with the great Gwen Stefani. Respect.”

Shelton and Stefani have been happily in love and writing songs about their romance since they met as Voice coaches last year, after splitting with their respective spouses, Miranda Lambert and Gavin Rossdale.

“Go Ahead and Break My Heart” will be on Shelton’s upcoming album If I’m Honest, which will be available May 20.
