Kaley Cuoco Hits Up ‘Late Show with Stephen Colbert’ with New Beau Karl Cook After Finalizing Divorce

Kaley Cuoco’s divorce is behind her once and for all.

Hours after finalizing her divorce from former pro tennis player Ryan Sweeting yesterday (May 9), she and new equestrian and billionaire boyfriend Karl Cook hit up her Late Show with Stephen Colbert taping where she joked about her relationship status.

Sporting Converse sneakers and a white coat over her ensemble, Cuoco looked radiant for the camera while Cook (in the tan suit) stood back.

When she walked out onto Colbert’s NYC studio set, she was holding the hand of a new mystery man wearing a banana suit. She commented to Stephen Colbert, “I just thought I would take this time, since everyone is so concerned with who I’m dating, to say that is who I’m dating,” then pointing to the banana man or “the manana,” as Colbert called him.

“The banana man,” Cuoco continued. “We’re in a very serious relationship. Yes.”

Last week, during an interview with Gayle King on CBS This Morning, Cuoco explained about her divorce:

“Everything ended the way it was supposed to. I’m not ashamed of anything that happened. I love hard and when it’s over, it’s over…I wouldn’t call it a mistake. It just is what happened in my life.”

The divorce settlement leaned in Cuoco’s favor due to their prenup: according to TMZ, she was able to keep her $72 million fortune in earnings from her contract on The Big Bang Theory ($1 million an episode for 72 shows), which she signed only months after the couple got married in 2013.

She also gets to keep their two homes (one in Tarzana and their beach home in the Santa Barbara area), while he gets to keep a lump sum of $165, 000, and any cash or gift certificates he has to his name. Cuoco has further agreed to pay his $195,000 bill for his two personal trainers.
