Kim Kardashian Will Receive an Actual Award for Breaking the Internet

Like a millennial’s Nobel Prize.

Kim Kardashian will receive the first-ever Break the Internet Award at the 2016 Webby Awards. According to the press release, Kim takes the prize “in recognition of her unprecedented success online and the bold and creative ways she has used the Internet, social media, apps and video to connect with a truly global audience.”

The annual awards show limits the award winners to five-word speeches. Let’s hope that this isn’t a first draft.

Other honorees include Kanye West, Lena Dunham, Jessica Alba, and Jenni Konner. The awards will be available to stream on WebbyAwards.com on Monday, May 17 and available for tune-in on Xfinity X1 that week.
