It’s shooting in Ibiza.
Socialite zookeeper Paris Hilton is producing an untitled documentary about herself with 9.14 Pictures and XYZ Films, as announced at Cannes Film Festival. The film will be directed by Don Argott and Sheena Joyce, and the shoot schedule will commence this summer on the party island of Ibiza. Billed as an “unflinching, authorized documentary”, Variety reports that Hilton will discuss her rise to fame with that “thing” that made her famous, how the fame has become her, and will examine “the impact her image has had on young women today”.
“Paris Hilton is a modern day Marilyn Monroe — beautiful, iconized, world famous, shaped by mass media and misunderstood,” Argott and Joyce said. “We are thrilled to work with Paris to explore her complicated relationship with the public, the press and the politics that shape our perception of a modern celebrity.”
