Michael B. Jordan Has Joined the Cast of ‘Black Panther’

This cast just keeps getting better and better!

First, we had Chadwick Boseman in the lead for Black Panther. Then, earlier this week Lupita Nyong’o signed on to play the love interest. Now director Ryan Coogler has added Michael B. Jordan to the cast of the highly anticipated Marvel film.

The Hollywood Reporter first broke the news, adding that Jordan could be the film’s bad guy. Coogler has already teamed up with Jordan for both Fruitvale Station and Creed, to near universal acclaim.

The Black Panther character has already been introduced to the Marvel Cinematic Universe via Captain America: Civil War, which is currently storming the box office, netting over $700 million worldwide so far.

Black Panther is set to be released on Feb. 16, 2018.
