Many A-list celebrities attended the 27th Annual GLAAD Media Awards in NYC on Saturday, hosted by Orange is the New Black star Laverne Cox (who wore Forevermark Diamonds), to honor those in the media who support and advance LGBT equality, including Mariah Carey, who received the Ally Award.

Presented to her by friend and Empire creator Lee Daniels, who directed her in the Oscar-nominated film Precious, Carey graciously accepted, dazzling in a curve-hugging gown with a plunging neckline.

According E! News, Carey said, “I just want to say to everybody in the room, I know everybody wants to keep it moving, thank you for the unconditional love, ’cause it’s very difficult to me to have that, I haven’t experienced much of it. So I thank you–I thank you and I wish all of you love, peace, harmony, and as my 5-year-old son Rocky likes to say, ‘Boobies and butts.’”

Meanwhile, Caitlyn Jenner was also a honoree, receiving the award for Outstanding TV journalism for her April 2015 20/20 interview with Diane Sawyer.

Before the show, Jenner shared an Insta-snap of her beauty routine, with a face mask and under-eye masks on, writing, “The joys of being a woman. Sooo worth it. #glaadawards #saturdaymorningfun.”

Jenner donned a parkly black Donna Karan gown for the award ceremony, telling the audience, “We are human beings. And the society we live should be up here.”

Other honorees included Robert DeNiro, who was presented the GLAAD Excellence in Media Award by his good friend, Jennifer Lawrence. Click on the gallery above!
