Watch Will Ferrell and Red Hot Chili Peppers' Chad Smith's 'Tonight Show' Drum-Off
Will Ferrell can play a mean cowbell, but how did he fare in his drum-off with doppelgänger drummer Chad Smith of the Red Hot Chili Peppers? Well, he was hilarious that's for sure

Oh no, hope it’s nothing serious.

The Red Hot Chili Peppers were “really sad” when they had to cancel their gig at the KROQ Weenie Roast in Irvine on Saturday because their lead singer Anthony Kiedis had to be taken to the hospital with extreme stomach pain, reports E! News. The band did not give any more detail on Kiedis condition.

Bassist Flea announced the cancellation to the crowd at the Irvine Meadows Amphitheatre. “Anthony is on his way to the hospital right now and we’re unable to play this evening. We are devastated about it. We’re really sad.”

“We love you so much,” he added. “We live to rock, we live to f–king dig deep into the depths of our hearts and rock. But unfortunately there’s a medical thing that happened and he needed to deal with it.”

A Red Chili Peppers fan captured the moment on Instagram.

Later, drummer Chad Smith tweeted, “NO one’s more disappointed than us that we couldn’t perform tonight. Sending love and a speedy recovery to my brother Anthony.”

Let’s hope Kiedis gets well soon so he can perform with band on Tuesday in Burbank, CA.
