No matter her age, Cameron Diaz will never entertain this article of clothing.
The ageless actress discusses how she plans to grow up on her terms in the June/July issue of Harper’s BAZAAR after the release of The Longevity Book, which explores the science of aging. “Everybody’s age is different and by that I mean that even when you’re a certain age, it’s all a matter of how you present yourself, how old your spirit is, and where you are in your life,” says Diaz. “Some 50 year olds are still 35. It’s about expression and what they can pull off.”
That said, the 43-year-old does have her sartorial limitations. When asked which clothing item she refuses to wear at any age, she responded, “I’m definitely not doing tube tops. No way.”
Through research for her book, Diaz discovered that the body changes in “so many little ways” after you turn 40. “It doesn’t react the same way it used to I don’t get the results that I used to as easily as I once did,” she explains. :But just like everyone else, I’m more and less disciplined at various times based on what’s going on in my life.”
