Sorry, Gladiators.

ABC has announced that Scandal’s sixth season will not premiere this fall. The network will replace the show’s Thursday 9 p.m. time slot with Notorious starring Piper Perabo, while Shonda Rimes’ other two series — Grey’s Anatomy and How to Get Away with Murder — will remain in their respective 8 p.m. and 10 p.m. slots. According to ABC, Scandal is slated for a midseason premiere presumably to accommodate Kerry Washington’s real-life pregnancy.

“We did have to make some adjustments to Scandal for a variety of reasons that had to do with the production schedule,” ABC chief Channing Dungey, ABC’s new president of entertainment, said on Tuesday.

The network plans to give Scandal it’s old Thursday time slot when it returns.
