Susan Sarandon Wants to Direct Porn in Her 80’s

Susan Sarandon Slams Woody Allen: 'I Have Nothing Good to Say'
Susan Sarandon has "nothing good to say about Woody Allen," she told reporters on Sunday

Susan Sarandon’s career is going to take a bit of a turn.

Sarandon has been a Hollywood staple for years, but when she’s ready to retire from acting, she’s got a new gig in mind: porn director! But not just any porn director, the actress is interested in creating female-friendly porn. In a recent interview with The Times, Sarandon revealed her erotic aspirations, although she admitted to not knowing much about the industry.

“I have threatened, in my 80s, to direct porn,” she said. “I haven’t watched enough to know what the problems are. Most pornography is brutal and doesn’t look pleasurable from a female point of view. So I’ve been saying that when I no longer want to act, I want to do that.”

While she might not know much about the porn industry, she’s no stranger to filming erotically charged scenes. “It was Tony Scott’s first film and I intervened in the script,” she revealed. “First of all it was written that I was drunk and I said, ‘Seriously? You have to be drunk to get into bed with Catherine Deneuve? I don’t think so. Isn’t it more interesting if it is voluntary?’ “

“A lot of people know what’s in the middle,” she continued. “But what makes a sex act really interesting is how that first touch happens, how that first kiss comes, so in The Hunger Tony allowed me to come up with an idea about the T-shirt and then the kiss. Those moments need to be looked at.”
